At INFUSE Artisan Tea, ‘INFUSE’ henceforth, we take your privacy very seriously, we promise to always be transparent about what personal data we hold, why we hold it and strive to do everything in our power to keep your data safe. We will NEVER sell your data on to third party companies, however we do use some General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) compliant third party companies, to improve your customer experience, these will be explained below.
As said above, we take your privacy seriously, thus we are committed to safeguarding your personal data by ensuring we follow best practice procedures for any physical and electronic data that we may hold.
Data we collect
If you sign up for our INFUSE newsletter, we will collect your name and email address for marketing purposes, we will never add your email address to our marketing list after a sale unless you give explicit consent to join our mailing list. However, where you have shown vested interest in INFUSE, via our Kickstarter campaign, we will continue to include you in our mailing list, but you may unsubscribe at any time. We may also record demographic interests including post code, preferences and interests, if relevant, but only to hep us improve your customer experience. From time to time we will take photos in the Tea Bar for our social media platforms, if this photograph includes you, we will always ask your permission before sharing.
Website & cookies
As you browse our website, we collect both personal and non-personal data via tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel, using cookies, this enables us to maintain good a customer experience by helping us understand how our website is being used and any problems that may occur. The types of information collected can include the type of browser you use, the operating system, IP address, location, gender, age, ect. This type of information is standard practice and we only use it to provide you with a better service.
Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over the content on that website and whether they are GDPR compliant. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. All card transactions are done via third party companies iZettle and PayPal, which are GDPR compliant, we do not retain your bank or card details and we will only contact you via email to confirm your order or let you know it is on its way.
Controlling your personal information
GDPR gives you total control over the data we hold, if you have any concerns, including complaints, with any of the data we hold at INFUSE you can contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org If you wish to unsubscribe from our mailing list, at any time, you can do so via the unsubscribe button at the bottom of every email, we use the third party company Mailchimp, who are GDPR compliant, to send out our newsletters.
You are also entitled to obtain a copy of all the personal data we store upon request and can even ask to be ‘forgotten’ and have all your data destroyed, however, please note there may be occasions were by law we cannot do this, so if you have any concerns, do contact us.
INFUSE will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties, unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
