Our Story
How Northern Ireland got its first Tea Bar, and why we think tea deserves better.
More than a drink
INFUSE was born from a simple belief: that tea, real tea, loose leaf tea, tea taken seriously, deserves a home of its own. Not a shelf in the corner of a cafΓ©, not a sad teabag dunked in a paper cup. A proper home.
We opened Northern Ireland's first dedicated Tea Bar right here in Coleraine, on the Causeway Coast, and we've been sharing our love of extraordinary tea ever since.
Alongside our loose leaf teas we serve exceptional coffee from 3fe in Dublin, an eclectic food menu made with local produce, and a steady programme of events that make INFUSE as much a community space as it is a place to drink.
What we believe in
Tea taken seriously
Every tea on our menu is sourced with care and brewed with exacting standards. We know where it comes from and why it matters.
Local, where we can
From Chestnutt Farm milk to the producers and makers we choose to work with, local sourcing isn't a marketing line for us, it's the default.
A community space
We host book clubs, meetups, workshops and dinners. INFUSE is a place to be, not just a place to order from.
Curiosity & welcome
Tea comes from everywhere. We celebrate that. Everyone is welcome at INFUSE, the curious, the regulars, the first-timers.
Tea Bar 2.0, built by our community
In October 2023 we launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring Tea Bar 2.0 to life, a bigger, better version of what we'd already built. We couldn't have predicted how the response would make us feel.
Kickstarter's own team featured us as a 'Project We Love', a badge they give to exceptional projects. Γine nearly lost her dang mind.
The campaign wasn't just about money, it was proof that what we're building here matters to people. Every one of our 152 backers has their name embedded in our logo as a reminder of that.
Come and see us
The best way to understand what INFUSE is about is to come in, sit down, and let us make you something you've never tried before.
